Carol Wilkinson Kammeter

Carol Wilkinson Kammeter, age 85, passed away at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, VA, Thursday, February 22, 2018. A true lover of life and all things that bring happiness, Carol seemed to have an endless supply of zest and compassion. Carol was born to Charlie F. Wilkinson and Elsie Snead Wilkinson February 29, 1932; enjoyed her family, the Cub Scouts and square dancing. She served as both legal and church secretaries and was a dedicated member and deacon with the Culpeper Baptist Church. Surviving Carol is her son, Kevin Kammeter and his wife Dorothy of Rural Retreat, VA, brother, Charlie “Friend” Wilkinson and his wife Debbie of Nokesville, VA, granddaughter, Jennifer Ann Tolley and great-grandson, Steven Lee Tolley, both of Radford, VA. In addition to her parents, her ex-husband, Marvin “Mickey” Ellsworth Kammeter, sons, Eric Ellsworth Kammeter and Gary Allen Kammeter and a granddaughter, Kimberly Christine Kammeter, preceded Carol in death. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper.
