David Lee Ankrom Jr.

David Lee Ankrom, Jr., of Culpeper, VA, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the age of 58. Born March 3, 1961 in North Carolina to David Lee Ankrom, Sr. and Carolyn Sue Wines Ankrom, David was an HVAC technician and served in the United States Air Force. Surviving David are his sons, Michael E. Ankrom and David L. Ankrom, III.; sister Leanne Ankrom and her fiance’ Mark Foster; brother Steven Ankrom and his wife Sandra; Aunt Doris Brennan of Westchester, IL; Nieces, Amber Ankrom, Jessica Ankrom and fiancé Brandon Aylor. Nephew David Lynn Ankrom and wife Ann Ankrom; grandchildren, Elizabeth Ankrom, Jenna Ankrom , David Ankrom, Michael Ankrom, Abigail Ankrom, Anthony Ankrom , Gwin Ankrom, Hannah Ankrom and Lily McDavid. In addition to his parents, his son, Matthew Ankrom preceded David in death. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Fincham officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA at 2:00 p.m. with U.S. Air Force Honors.
