Deborah (Debbie) Moorman, 73, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026 in Culpeper, Virginia. Debbie was born on June 11, 1952 in Toronto, Canada. She, her husband, and three children immigrated to Virginia in 1986 to become dairy farmers, of which they did for a number of years. During the mid-1990s, Debbie attended Strayer University and worked as a computer programmer with a government contractor for over 10 years. She enjoyed reading historical non-fiction novels, gardening, and spending time with her animals.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Wilma Mundier, as well as her sons – Brian Saltais and Johnny Moorman.
She is survived by her husband, John Moorman, her daughter Melissa Pond, granddaughters Taylor Moorman, Julia Pond and Alexis Pond.
A small gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, June 13th at her daughter’s home in Culpeper.
