

Debra Anne Lesto-Meyers, Debi, 62, of Culpeper, Virginia, passed away suddenly on February 16, 2025, while working a horse on her family farm. As a believer in Jesus Christ, Debra was called home to meet the Lord. Her faith, love for family, and passion for animals were at the heart of her life.
Debi was loved by all who her knew her. She was loved and respected within the horse and farm world. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jay Anthony Meyers; her brother, Christopher Lesto; and her mother, Anne Lesto. Debi will be forever loved and deeply missed by her son, Brandon Urso; daughters, Gina Williams and Cara Brookshire; brother and sister-in-law, Scott & Molly Lesto and Carl Lesto; sons-in-law, Cody Williams and Cody Brookshire; daughter-in-law, Jenni Urso; grandchildren, Aiden Williams, Christopher Jay Anthony Meyers Brookshire, Carter Brookshire, Eli Williams, Emma Williams, Charlee Brookshire, Aurelio Urso; her niece and nephews Alyssa & Ryan Lesto, and Liam Gensler and her partner, David Wurst.
Debi and Jay spent 24 wonderful years together, raising three children—Brandon, Gina, and Cara. They shared a passion for health and fitness, and their lives were filled with more laughter than most. They worked tirelessly to build a life full of love for their children, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.
A lifelong lover of horses, Debi’s bond with animals was unmatched. She began riding at a young age, and over the years her passion for horses only deepened. Debi was particularly passionate about cutting horses in her later years, becoming an active member of the National Cutting Horse Association. She enjoyed showing and owning horses and took immense pride in her work with them. Horses provided her with comfort in difficult times, and they were a constant source of joy in her life.
Debi was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her bond with her grandchildren was something truly special, and the memories of their time together will remain in their hearts forever. As a devoted Catholic, Debi’s faith in Jesus Christ was held close to her heart.
A funeral service will be held at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper, Virginia, on March 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Following the ceremony, the family invites friends and loved ones to join them for a Celebration of Life at Rixeyville Manor in Culpeper, Virginia, starting at 11:30 a.m.
