Doris Cox Washborn, 93, formerly of Martinsville, VA, passed away in Dogwood Village December 6, 2021. Mrs. Washborn was born in Henry County, VA to Avner Cox and Laura Frye Cox September 6, 1928. She was the widow of James Francis Washborn.
Surviving Mrs. Washborn are her children, Sandra Coleman, James Francis Washburn, Jr., Gordon G. Washborn and Lisa W. Clowers. She also has seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
