

Gregory Todd Carrico, Sr., 43 of Catlett, surrounded by those he loved went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 12, 2016. Greg was born in Maryland on March 12, 1973 to Bonnie J. Sams Prince and Ralph H. Carrico.
Greg was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and especially racing with his son, Gregory. Greg strived for the best in everything he did. He had champion hunting dogs, taking his pride dog, Fang to state champion. He spent every extra minute working on his son’s race car always stating Gregory was a winner and giving whatever it took to make it happen. Greg was a loyal employee of Ricky L. Brown. He was a sought after foreman, and did excellent work, known throughout the area as the best in the field. Greg had the biggest heart of any man. He loved his family. His mother always held a special place in his heart. Greg would have given his last dime and shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
Greg is survived by his son, Gregory, Jr., mother, Bonnie Prince, and step-father, Jimmy Prince. He is also survived by his father, Ralph Carrico and his wife, Bobbie. Greg has two brothers, Michael Carrico, and his wife Alicia, their children, Jared, Kayla, and Tucker, and Jimmy “Jay” Prince, and his significant other, Angelica Stafford, and their son, Jimmy Prince, III. He loved his special little sister, Braila Prince. Greg also is survived by a sister, Eleshia Powell and her family, Gregory, Tiffany, Katlynn, and Allison. He had a step-brother Chris Prince, and two step-sisters, Jennifer and Katrina Prince. Greg had a niece, Chelsea Martin and her husband, Ryan and their three children. Greg continued to have a special relationship with Jennifer and her son, Ryan.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 18, 2016, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, with services at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, VA. The family will gather to continue the Life Celebration at the Schoolhouse at 14096 Norman Road, Culpeper, Virginia, immediately following the committal service.
