Hazel Rebecca Hudnall

Rebecca “Becky” Wolfrey Hudnall, age 79, of Elkwood died January 12, 2022 in UVA Culpeper Medical Center. Becky was born December 25, 1942 in Alexandria, VA to Cary T. and Estelle P. Hansbrough making their home in Haywood, VA.

Becky is survived by her husband George E. Hudnall, Jr. of Elkwood, VA and step-daughter, Shannon L.H. Hicks and her husband Shawn, step-grandchildren Samantha, Jordon and Wyatt and her estranged daughter Dr. Stephanie W. Shane and her husband Michael and children Kayla and Kelsey. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Jennie Lee H. Wilson and her first husband Alton Wolfrey.

Becky graduated the ranks of a 43 year career of nursing-1962 CAN with Culpeper Memorial Hospital, 1964 from Culpeper County School of Practical Nursing and UVA 1994 as Registered Nurse and then 1975 Howard University as a Physician’s Assistant. During her tenure she will be remembered for her wit, jovialness and caring for others.

Contributions should be made to the SPCA of your choice, remembering her love of life were her precious Rottweilers Zack I, Zack II and Bolo.

There will be no memorial service for Becky, per her request.
