Irvin Dale Breeden Sr.

Irvin Dale Breeden, Sr., 81, of Culpeper, VA passed away at his home Saturday, October 8, 2016. Mr. Breeden was born in Syria, VA to Ruben Lewis Breeden and Beatrice Smith Breeden March 2, 1935. He was a member of the Culpeper County Volunteer Fire Department for 49 years and was a former chief; enjoyed Orioles and Nationals baseball, New York Giants football, the news and sports news.

Surviving Mr. Breeden is his wife Peggy; his children, Lynn Parker and her husband Philip, Donna Wise and her husband Gary, and Irvin Dale Breeden, Jr.; his grandchildren, Mindy Lavoie, Shelly Ann Plaster and her husband Seth, Kristin Ann Southard and her husband Justin, Nathan Wise and Ryan Parker; his great grandchildren, Sarah Plaster, Anna Isabelle Plaster and Philip Ryan Parker, Jr. and his sister-in-law Doris “Dody” Breeden. He also leaves a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Randolph Breeden, Sr., Ruben Junior Breeden, Earline Settle, Betty Lynn Hicks and Jessie Breeden.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at a later date in Fairview Cemetery.
