John Gary Lester

John Gary Lester, age 20, passed away peacefully July 19, 2018 at UVa Transitional Care Hospital. John was born April 12, 1998 in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed writing, singing, playing guitar, creating D&D campaigns with his closest friends and spending time with his work family at Weiss Markets in Culpeper, VA. John is survived by his parents, Joy and Ryan Greer; his big brother Frank Lester, Jr.; and his little sister Grace Greer, all of Culpeper, VA. John is also survived by his uncle (Bundy) John Fagan and cousin Collin Fagan of Donora, PA. Other surviving family members include Susan and Aaron Rutherford, Linda Greer and family and biological father Frank Lester and family, all of PA. Friends and family will be received at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA for a celebration of John’s life at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 29, 2018.
