

She was a kind and beautiful spirit, ever inquisitive of and inspired by her Love of nature. Known in her circle of friends as " The Tomato Queen of Etlan", Karen had a passion for organic gardening and the health of the Earth.
She enjoyed nothing more than being outdoors with a shared love of the mountains and the sea. Karen spent her life procuring knowledge of all kinds. Well read, with an encyclopedic memory, she dedicated her adult life to teaching her children and grandchildren about nature and the world around them.
Karen loved to write poetry and those dearest to her had the great fortune of hearing her read her poems aloud.
Karen's family and friends will treasure and share her poems for years to come.
Nothing was more fulfilling for her than preparing wholesome, homegrown meals full of great foods, tons of smiles and laughter, along with buckets of Love.
Karen's family and friends will forever cherish the memories of her giving and beautiful soul.
Karen's legacy will be continued by her children, Amber, Bobby, Katie, Karlyn, her seven grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. As well as her mate and life partner, Mark Stik Gulas, and her emotional support girls, Willow and Meadow.
Karen's interment will be private, with a memorial and remembrance at a later date.
