

on June 10, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1933 at Warrenton, to the
late Virginia to the late Languin M. Sr. and Virginia Barron. He was married to
Minnie Ernestine Beverly on August 27, 1955 and resided in Catlett from
marriage to 2004 when they moved to Amissville, Virginia. Father of three
children, Languin M. Barron, III, Beth Barron Gray, and Christal Barron. He
was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Ernestine and daughter Beth
Barron Gray in 1987 and He is also predeceased by his sibling, Louise Short.
He is survived by his two remaining children and his sisters, Annalee
Fishback, Ruby Hemsley, and Doris Cox. He is also survived by five
grandchildren, Heather Ashley Gray, Edward Marshall Barron, James Robert
Barron, Joshua McGuire Manuel, and Hannah “Caroline” Manuel. Also
surviving are three great-grandchildren, Beth, Colt, and Nash Barron.
Languin Barron worked as a heavy equipment mechanic at Luck Stone and
was an active member for many years at New Baltimore Baptist Church, and
then served as a deacon at the Oakdale Baptist Church. He was also a
part-time farmer making hay on his farm in Catlett. He moved to Amissville in
2004 and became an active member of the Amissville Baptist Church and
served on the Building and Grounds Committee. After retirement he helped
his son on his farm in Amissville and also enjoyed spending time with his
grandchildren and great grandchildren on the farm.
A graveside service for Languin will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Road, Jeffersonton, Virginia 22724.
