Lawrence Grover Bache Sr.

Lawrence Grover Bache, Sr. (Bee), 82, of Culpeper, VA, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born December 20, 1928 to Clyde G. Bache and Gabrella Burke Bache in Culpeper, Lawrence served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War; worked at the Coca Cola Company, the Culpeper Star Exponent and the Potomac News. “Bee” was an avid bingo player and loved his family.

Surviving Mr. Bache is his wife, Ethel Hart Bache of Culpeper, VA; his children, Deborah Ann Brown and her husband Jimmy of Brightwood, VA, Rebecca Leigh Bledsoe and her husband Rodney of Culpeper, VA and Lawrence G. Bache, Jr. (Larry) and his wife Dawn of Culpeper, VA; his grandchildren, Merri Ellyn Woodward and her husband Jason, Erin Mitchell and her husband Trey, Ashleigh Greenwood and her husband Joe, Danielle Krumholz and her husband Pete, Sarah Owens and her husband Todd, Cody Brown and his girlfriend Anna Piel, Stephen Bledsoe and his girlfriend Ashley Rutherford, Lauren Bache, Russell Bache, Caleigh-Ruth Brown and six great-grandchildren; his brothers, Jack Bache of Cleveland, TN, Donald Bache “Donnie” and his wife Shirley of Culpeper and James Bache “Bucky” and his wife Winnie of Culpeper. There are a number of nieces and nephews and Smokey. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Barbara Jean Bache and his brother, Thomas Harold “Pete” Bache.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Clore-English Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Culpeper National Cemetery, 501 E. Chandler Street with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 330 and V.F.W. Post 2524 Honor Guards.
