Linda Faye Pullen

Linda Faye Pullen, age 67, of Culpeper, VA, passed away at her residence surrounded by her family Sunday, May 25, 2014. Linda was born September 19, 1946 to the late Robert Nile Shumaker and Tessie Wean Shumaker in Rockingham County, VA. Linda never met a stranger; she enjoyed managing Town and Country Restaurant, New Baltimore, for 33 years and being surrounded by family and friends. She had an adventurous and outgoing spirit, going on many 4-wheeling and camping expeditions across the U.S. and Canada with her dear husband, Ralph.

Surviving Linda is her husband, Ralph E. Pullen, children; Teresa Martin and her husband William, Clarence “C.J.” Johnson, III, and his wife Kristen, R.C. Pullen and his wife Janet, Pearl Jamison and her husband Joel, all of Culpeper, and Christy Hermansen and her husband Coel of Reva, siblings; Marcella Clatterbuck and her husband Roger, Darlene Caudill and her husband Dennis, all of Culpeper and Brewer “Buddy” Shumaker and his wife Viki of Amissville, grandchildren; A.J. Pullen and his wife Tracy, Trey Martin and his fiancé Marlena Kilby, Travis Thomas and his fiancé Sophie, Taylor Thomas, Taylor Jamison, Lauren Jamison and Lilly Johnson, two great-granddaughters, Haleigh Martin and Payton Thomas and a large number of extended family members also survive.

Gentlemen serving as pallbearers are Greg Butler, John Clark, Steven James, Chad McKnight, Todd Shaffer and Michael Williams.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, May 30, 2014, at Clore-English Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014 in the Clore-English Chapel with Pastor John Burke officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
