Mary Clarke

Mary Leake Clarke, 82, of Sperryville, VA passed away in the UVa Hospital, Saturday, August 6, 2011 with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Clarke was born May 16, 1929 in Rappahannock County, VA; was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church and loved the world and its people.

Surviving Mrs. Clarke is her daughter, Kristi Sawyer and her husband Tom of Reva, VA; her grandchildren, Kori Alicie and her husband Scott and Ryan Toulotte, all of Culpeper, VA and Kayli and Kamille Toulotte, both of Reva, VA; a nephew, Robert Leake, and her great-grandchildren, Kristin Spring Alicie, Grayson Scott Alicie and Kaydence Emma Alicie all of Culpeper, VA. Preceding her in death are her mother, Delia Dodson Leake; her siblings, Bobby and Lucille; her daughter, Martha Stacy Clarke and her husband, Cletus Clarke.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Rev. Jon Heddleston will conduct the service. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
