Patience Bartlett Ritz

Patience Bartlett Ritz (Patie) of Culpeper, VA (formerly of Centreville) passed in peace at her home on January 6, 2017 at the age of 73. Patie was born on April 25, 1943 in New Haven, CT to Arlene Kay and F. Weston Bartlett. She graduated from Mansfield (MA) High School in 1961 and attended the University of Bridgeport.

Patie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert D. Ritz; four children, Amy Kuhler (Chuck), David Ritz (Emily Sorbello), Deborah Crane, Daniel Ritz (Angela Kohn) and grandchildren Chris, Jon Kuhler; Ben, Matt, Caleb, Elle Crane; Justin, Cooper, Ashley Ritz; Mina, Leo, Franco, Sano, Talia Ritz; brothers F. Weston Bartlett, Jr., Wallace Bartlett; sisters, Susan Stearns, Deborah Treicis; sister-in-law Heidi Ritz; and loving nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial celebration on from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m., February 11, 2017 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Culpeper, VA..
