Russell G. Kilby Jr.

Russell G. Kilby, Jr., 79, of Orange, VA passed away at his residence Saturday, January 19, 2013. Mr. Kilby was born June 24, 1933 to Russell G. Kilby and Jessie Mae Dobyns Kilby in Charlottesville, VA; served his country in the U.S. Army ; worked as a painter and was a life member of the V.F.W.

Surviving Mr. Kilby is his wife Mary W. Kilby of Orange, VA; his children, Elaine K. Pendergrass, Nancy Jean Van Dyke, Russell Clatterbuck, Sue Ann Overby, Mary Jane Whittaker, and Ellen Russell Barbieri. There are 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mildred Ann Kilby and his son Gordon Kilby.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 with funeral services held Thursday, January 24, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow services in Culpeper National Cemetery, News Grounds.
