Surviving Shirley are her brother, Elworth Ray Grady and his wife Joyce of Culpeper; sister, Fay Grady Hatmaker of Chambersburg, PA; a special niece, Christal Rudy and nephews, Thomas Grady, Anthony Grady (Tia), Michael Hatmaker and Gregory Hatmaker, and numerous great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Grady and a sister, May Grady Kilby.
Shirley was an active member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and attended regularly until declining health issues prevented her from doing so. She loved her church family and had made many good friends in her time of attending church.
Shirley never knew a stranger. She was very gentle, friendly and outgoing and was loved by all who knew her. She will be missed by her family and friends. Shirley always had a smile on her face and could talk to anyone.
