Blanca Orbelina Castillo

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Blanca Orbelina Castillo, who passed away on October 30th 2024, at the age of 72. Blanca was a loving and devoted mother, and a dear friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on the 1st of January in 1952 in El Salvador, Blanca lived a life marked by strength, resilience, and unwavering love for her family. Though she faced a courageous battle with metastatic cancer, her grace and determination remained steadfast throughout. Now, she is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Manuel Antonio Castillo, and their daughter, Blanca Aracely Castillo, who greeted her at the gates of Heaven with open arms.

Blanca’s life was filled with passions that reflected her nurturing spirit. She was an avid gardener, taking great pride in tending to her plants, especially her cherished red roses and orchids. Her love of nature and the simple joys of life—like savoring a cup of coffee with pan dulce in the morning—were central to the warmth she radiated.

A talented cook, Blanca always made her home a place of comfort and love, preparing meals with care for her family. She also had a flair for fashion, never leaving the house without her signature hat and scarf, and always dressed in vibrant colors like her favorite, turquoise.

Blanca was a passionate soccer fan, and her enthusiasm for the game was contagious. Her zest for life, kindness, and deep love for her family and friends made her a remarkable person who will never be forgotten.

Blanca is survived by her two sons, Gerber Castillo and Henry Castillo, and her daughter, Jessica Castillo. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.

Blanca’s love and strength will live on in the hearts of her family. May she rest in peace, forever reunited with her loved ones.

A visitation for Blanca will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
