
Born in London, England on October 24, 1931, he survived World War 2 as a child evacuee along with his younger brother John. He is survived by his only son Lee Brennan, daughter in law Kristin Verity and step-granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Verity. One of seven children he is also survived by his older sister Joyce Hynes, younger brothers John and Paul Brennan, and younger sister Maureen Golton. An avid sportsman and fan he was a lifelong Arsenal fan. He will be cremated and will return to Thetford, England to be interred next to his loving wife Jean Lillian Brennan (née Payne), and his parents William Henry Brennan and Annie Minnie Alice Brennan (née Lapidoth).
After his birth in the UK he relocated to the USA in his mid 30’s along with his wife and son, with the goal of providing a better life for him and his family. He initially lived and worked in Houston, Texas. In 1973 he survived a boat fire on the Houston Ship Channel which then caused him to change his career and learn bookkeeping. He worked for Teledyne Industries for many years and in the latter years started his own delivery company. In 1986 he lost his wife, Jean and temporarily relocated back to the UK, where he lived in Thetford, England. In 1990 he returned to work at Teledyne. Upon retirement he relocated to Los Angeles to live closer to his son, and has lived there ever since until his recent demise of natural causes.
