He was born in Bavaria, immigrated to Toronto, & moved his family to Culver City California 60+ years ago. He was also known as Schatzi, Dad, Grandpa, Joe & Sepp. He led a fabulous life filled with adventure, travel, family, love & lots of campfires. He was an excellent cabinet maker by trade & could literally fix anything, offered great advice & was always quick to help out. He is survived by Elisabeth, his loving wife of 67 yrs; his children, Linda & Joe/Joey (Ann); his grandchildren, Chad (Grace), Danielle, Luke (Aubrey) & Shannon; his great grandchildren Eros, Eryx, & Lucy; extended family members & many friends. He has left a huge void & he will truly be missed! RIP
