Matilde Manayon Hizon was born in Babag II, Lapu Lapu City, Cebu Philippines on March 15, 1926. She was born to Calixta Berdin and Eugenio Manayon. She had an Adventurous spirit, so she went to Manila to start anew, and finally met Ricardo Hizon. From there, they started a life together and formed a family. She has 9 children; Julieta, Rosaminda, Ofelia, Yolanda, Isabelita, Esperanza, Ricardito, Gigi, Priscilla and one added son, Bryan. Some formed families and produced offspring. Her grandchildren are; Jeremai Lynn, Joshua Lon, Melissa lourdes, Bryan Rosso, Andrea Nicolette, Gerard Cyril, Mary Jo, Jernezsa, Kristina, Jhameil Shaun and Ria Mae. She has 2 great grandchildren; Ronan Ross and Bianca Klaryss. She lived her life, for the most part, as a housewife and an mom. Aside from that, she was in dressmaking, embroidery, cooking and selling her goods for money to be used for her kids. She was interested in gardening and making new recipes for everyone to enjoy. She was a kind, sweet, loving and caring person. She will be missed.
