Nola, Darrell and their growing family moved from a farm in Monona County, Iowa to Culver City, California and eventually settled and raised their family in Mar Vista, California in January 1952. She will return to rest in Ingemann Danish Church Cemetery with her husband Darrell and their infant son.
She is preceded in death by her husband Darrell Sorenson (1980), son William Walter (1942), father Walter Perrin (1953), mother Martha Perrin (1980), and brother Warren Leroy Perrin (1996).
She is survived by her sister Lorna (Perrin) Wessell, brother-in-law Darrell (Wes), nephew Larry Wessell and niece Lynette Pohlman.
Daughter Darla Poole; grandson Joseph & wife Amanda; great grand children, Darrell, Joseph Jr., Katie, and Nathan of Scottsboro, Alabama, granddaughter Amanda Poole Schofield and husband Rob of Long Beach, California.
Daughter Sue Sorenson, granddaughter Erin Ballou of Los Angeles,
daughter Ann Baker, grandson Samuel & wife Sonia of Torrance California,
and son James Sorenson of Sacramento, California.
Her family loved her dearly, and she and the lessons she taught them will not be forgotten.
