Bruce was born on Wednesday, July 28, 1948, in Saint John, NB. He was adopted by the late William Phillips and the late Evangeline Bernard.
He worked at the NB Power Dalhousie Generating Station as a Stationary Engineer for 33 plus years. He had retired March 31, 2005. Since the he has loved taking care of his family and travelling
He is survived by his children, Rachel of Saint John, Bruce Jr. of Campbellton, and his two nephews. He is also survived by his fiancée, Donna Kalesnick. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tracy (Phillips) Coffin, and his sister, Betty Ann Phillips Boudreau.
The family will welcome family and friends at Maher/Savoie Funeral Home, 10 Church Street in Eel River Crossing on Monday, November 17 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
A funeral mass for Bruce will be held at St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie on November 18 at 11:00 am.
