Charles "Charlie" Sutton

Charlie was the loving husband of the late Aaran Sutton (Hamilton) and son of the late Florella Sutton (Monzello). Charlie was born on April 25, 1938 in Dalhousie, N.B. where he resided throughout his life.

Charlie worked at the Papermill in Dalhousie until his retirement following a 43 year career. During his career Charlie was also active in the Employees Club and the NBIP Fire Department. Charlie was always young at heart and would often be seen riding his Segway around town. He also enjoyed many rounds of golf and spending time at the coffee shop with his friends.

Charlie is survived by his children Tracey Eagles (Rod), Glen Sutton (Deena), Jennifer MacDonald (Doug), and grandchildren Adam, Jared, Emma, Ethan, Riley, Sarah and Taylor all of Quispamsis, NB, as well as brothers Ernie (Margie) of Dalhousie, Lester (Jane) of Dartmouth, NS, sister Aldene Hoghe of Albany, NY, brother in law Sherman Dewar of St. George, NB and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and mother, Charlie was predeceased by his sister Vera Dewar and nephew David Hoghe.

Funeral service will be held at St. John Bosco Church in Dalhousie, NB on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home in Dalhousie, NB.
