Born in Dalhousie on April 9, 1935, son of the late George Flanagan and the late Katie Pratt.
He worked for NBIP for 40 years until retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Flanagan; his sons Treg Flanagan of Moncton; Caley (Diane) Flanagan of Bathurst; one sister Marilyn (Flanagan) Cooling of Campbellton; his grandchild Brittany Flanagan of Kamloops, B. C. and Many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Almeatha (Flanagan) Ross and brother-in-laws Bill Cooling and Donald Ross.
At David Flanagan's request, there will be no visitation and there will be no funeral.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Dalhousie.
