Irma Hazel MacNair

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Irma Mac Nair of Charlo, New Brunswick at her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. Born on June 1, 1943 in Robinsonville, New Brunswick, she was the youngest daughter of the late James Harris and Mary Harris (nee Murray).

Irma is survived by her loving husband Raymond Mac Nair of 54 years; son Dale Mac Nair of Bath, Ontario; daughter Beverly Hamilton (Dean) of Ottawa, Ontario; siblings Elaine Sharpe (late Wendell), Don Harris (Lois), Murray Harris, Reta Hilts (late Terry), Lois Mann (late Lorne); brother-in-law James Mac Nair (late Marsha), and Carl Mac Nair (Faye). She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Irma will be remembered for her smile and willingness to help others.

A funeral service will be held at the St. John Presbyterian Church, Dalhousie, New Brunswick on July 15th, 2017 at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

The MacNair family wish to especially acknowledge the exemplary care given by Dr. Georges Touma from Maria, Quebec and the staff at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, as well as, the team of Dr. Mimeault at the Ottawa General Hospital.

Funeral arrangements are in the care of Maher’s Funeral Home, Dalhousie, New Brunswick.
