A native of Gaston County, he was the son of Christine Watts and the late David Watts.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Watts; children, Vanessa Anderson (Charles), Eva Towery (Mark); grandchildren, Eliott and Alliandre Anderson, Aubrey and Lexton Towery; sisters, Nancy Mills, Debbie Thompson; step brothers and sisters, Kathy, Dennis, Bruce, Kenny and Audrey.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Watts; and sister, Diane Watts.
A funeral service will be held 12:30 pm Wednesday at Dallas Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fain Farmer officiating.
Interment will be at Long Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm Wednesday at Dallas Funeral Home.
