Born on February 18, 1948, in Gaston County, North Carolina, He attended Holbrook High School and went on to build a strong work ethic that defined much of his life. William was a dedicated employee of Wix Filters, where he proudly worked for 21 years before retiring.
William enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He was passionate about NASCAR, loved fishing, and especially cherished time spent at the beach. These interests brought him joy and many fond memories shared with family and friends.
Above all else, William was a devoted family man. He is survived by his caring and loving wife of 48 years, Peggy L. Causby; his son, Todd Causby (Marnita); his daughter, Leeann Causby; and his beloved grandchildren, Joshua Hance, Riley Causby, and Levi Causby.
William will be remembered for his dedication, loyalty, and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
