

Agapita Nuenay Muana, age 86, passed away on October 24, 2023 in The Colony, Texas. She was born on March 15, 1937 in Cebu, Philippines to Ysabel Ybañez and Diosdado Nuenay. Agapita was raised in Cebu, Philippines and attended school at Christ The King from 1950 to 1957.
Agapita was fortunate enough to find two amazing man in her life. She married her first husband, Lorenzo Carriedo and they had 9 children. After Lorenzo's passing she met her second husband Felicisimo Muana.
She was a devoted housewife and business woman.
In her spare time she enjoyed singing and dancing. Her favorite artist was Pelita Corrales, "Matud Nila" was her favorite song by her.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a comedian, generous, friendly and kind person. She loved to take care of everyone regardless if they were family or not.
She is preceded in death by, her parents, all her brothers, her first husband and daughter, Emma N. Carriedo.
She is survived by: daughter, Conception (Connie) Salcedo with husband, Yolando Salcedo; daughter, Amy Carriedo-Struve with husband, Ralph Allan Struve; son, Leolovir N. Carriedo with wife, Aleli Carriedo; son, Loresito N. Carriedo with wife, Gina Carriedo; daughter, May Carriedo-Lahoylahoy with husband, Eliseo Lahoylahoy; daughter, Maria Alita Carriedo-Denaque with husband, Alberto Denaque; son, Ayl N. Carriedo with wife, Renita Carriedo; daughter, Ann N. Carriedo; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
