

Albert Roy Sillman, age 66, passed away on August 23, 2020 in Boaz, KY. He was born in Dallas, TX on September 19, 1953 to Kenneth & Mavis Sillman. Albert was raised in Dallas and graduated first from Woodrow Wilson High School (class of 1972) and then from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers’ (IBEW) apprenticeship program to become an electrician. While married to Denise Sillman (Mills), Albert had two sons, Chad R. Sillman and Jeffrey A. Sillman. During his working years, he traveled the country to complete over 40 years of service for the IBEW union.
Upon retirement, Albert would split his time between both Kentucky and Texas to be near his sons, their spouses, and most importantly his grandchildren. Albert was a proud father and an even more proud grandfather to 4 grandchildren: Conner (8), Hagen (8), Cole (4), and Kennedi (1). Albert recently learned of a soon-to-be-born 5th grandchild. Albert enjoyed the great outdoors, guns, four- wheeling, and anything else he could do with his family.
Albert is a man of great faith who loves his Savior, Jesus Christ and is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his two sisters, Dona Stone of Rockwall, TX and Penny Staley of Dallas, TX and his two sons. Funeral services are to be held at Grove Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery in Dallas, TX on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
