It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Alejandro Sandoval, who entered eternal rest on April 15, 2025, at the age of ninety-two in his home in Dallas, Texas. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moment.
Alejandro was born in Chihuahua, Mexico in 1933 and came to the United States in the 1960s during the Bracero Program to work in agriculture in California and later settled in Dallas, Texas. Alejandro was a devoted husband to his wife Nicolasa for over seventy years and a loving father to their six children.
Alejandro worked in Construction and in his spare time he enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was an excellent self-taught auto mechanic in his younger years. He loved to watch Texas Rangers baseball and rooted for the Chivas soccer team. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with his loved ones. He loved music and he owned a large music collection. You could often find him sitting on his front porch playing his favorite tunes loudly. He looked forward to celebrating his birthday every year and having the mariachi serenade him. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nicolasa; his children, San Juana, Leopoldo, Maria Elena, Jose Angel, Dolores, and Estela; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Candelario and Maria Dolores Sandoval, his sister Manuela Sandoval, and his granddaughter Melissa Michelle Sandoval.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm and the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 2:00pm at Singing Hills Funeral Home located at 6221 University Hills Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75241.
