Vermote, Alphonse J., passed away Dec. 2, 20110 He was born Sept. 2, 1916 in St. Nicholas, Michigan. Preceded in death by his devoted wife of 64 years, Mary Juanita Vermote. He is survived by his sister Mary Arbour, and by his nine children, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-five great-grandchildren. He was employed as a cabinet maker and retired in 1982. He served honorably in WWII as was awarded a purple heart and a good conduct medal. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to : The ARC of Dallas, 12700 Hillcrest Rd. #200, Dallas, TX. 75230-2063. Visitation will be Dec. 5, 2011 at Calvary Hill North Chapel from 10:30 AM. to 12:00 PM, with Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM. Celebrant Father Timothy Gollob.
