“Andy” graduated from Richardson High School and attended Texas Tech. He married his junior high sweetheart, Stefani Raina McMurrey Watters, in 2005 and together they had three children, Wright, Loraina Merritt and Lorelei.
Andy was a gifted musician and guitarist and he enjoyed cooking, grilling out, riding bikes and going on “family walks” with his kids.
He was a devoted family man who adored his children and treasured his beloved mother, Linda, and his “Ga”, Mildred, who both preceded him in death.
He is remembered for always knowing how to diffuse any situation with his humor and for being a consummate salesman with an illustrious career in software sales working for some of the biggest names in technology, ranging from Dell, IBM, Oracle and Splunk.
A service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at 2pm Sparkman-Hillcrest.
