Angelita Espinoza, 85 years of age, passed away on March 18, 2020 in Dallas, TX. She was born on August 2nd, 1934 in Marlin, TX to her parents Cesario and Maria Luisa Rodriguez. Angelita was raised in Dallas, TX in “El Barrio” and attended Cumberland School from 1939-1943 in Dallas.

Angelita married her spouse, the love of her life, Leonides Espinoza in 1956, and the devoted couple had their one and only loving, amazing, wonderful, caring daughter, Gloria Espinoza.

Angelita worked as a cleaning lady for companies such as Glazer’s and EDS in the Dallas area. She worked for these companies for about 40 years.

While working and even after Angelita retired from her work she spent time at home babysitting and taking care of children. She babysitted a countless number of children through out the years. These children where her nephews, nieces, children from the neighborhood, children who were referred to her by other people; but all these children grew up and under the care of their “Tia”.

As many know Angelita had many of things she was very fond of. One main adoration she had was her famous “green thumb” she had for her plantas. She enjoyed her countless tv time devoted to her novelas and tv shows such as Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, I Love Lucy and The Golden Girls. But her #1 thing that she loved to watch and could not pry her away from was her “luchas” wrestling, WWE. She would not miss an episode. At times she would even refuse to leave the house because wrestling was going to start and she was not going to miss her favorite superstars such as The Rock, John Cena and Roman Reigns.

We will always remember Angelita for being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, prima, tia, madrina, comadre, neighbor, friend and momo.

Angelita is preceded in death by her parents, Cesario and Maria Luisa Rodriguez, her husband Leonides Espinoza, her siblings (in-laws) Sara Dominguez (Cruz), Cesario Rodriguez II, Jesse Rodriguez Sr (Yolanda), (Robert Amador), and Maria Rodriguez.

Angelita is survived by her daughter (in-law), Gloria Espinoza (Rosa). Siblings (In-laws) (Panchita Rodriguez) and Dolores Amador. Her niece Angie Rodriguez-Peralez, nephew Jesse Rodriguez Jr and great-nephews Zachary Peralez and Matthew Peralez and many many more countless relatives and friends.
