Angie Sosa

She was born on November 19, 1947, in Dallas to Mary Galindo and Macedonio Ayala, Angie graduated from Crozier Technical High School and pursued further education at El Centro and Eastfield Colleges.

Angie dedicated 48 years of service to Neiman Marcus in payroll and accounting before retiring. She found joy in reading, dancing, traveling, watching foreign films, and spending cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Mary and Macedonio Ayala, brother Richard Ayala, Aunt Lucy and Uncle Earnest.

Angie is survived by her children: Kimberly and her husband Jose Bailon, Pete and his wife Lisa Sosa, and Andrew Sosa and his significant other Violet Reyes; grandchildren: Noel Gutierrez, Pete Sosa Jr., Amanda Sosa, Autumn Sosa, Summer Sosa, Andrew Sosa Jr., Jacob Sosa, Anthony Sosa, Jade Flores; and great-grandchildren: Eli and Elizabeth Sosa and April Salto. She is also survived by the father of her children Pete Sosa, her sister Rachel Gregory, nieces Francine Fivash and Diana Jablonski, and many other loving family members and friends.

Services:

• Visitation: Monday, July 28, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuel Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228.

• Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain Joseph Sundararaj.

• Reception: 11 AM to 1 PM (light refreshments)

• Committal & Burial: Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 2 PM at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243, officiated by Chaplain Joseph Sundararaj.
