Born in 1930, in Easton, Pennsylvania, to homemaker Helen and Bank CEO Stanley Hahn, Ann was number one in her high school class. She obtained a B.A. Degree from Bucknell University in Economics and Political Science and a Master of Library Science from Wayne State University. Ann worked as assistant to the chief engineer of the Allegheny Bridge system prior to marrying Thomas H. (Tom) Easley III in 1955. Ann was an active volunteer and leader for numerous philanthropic organizations, a devoted wife and homemaker, and mom to two children; Thomas H. (Tom) Easley IV and Suzanne Easley Tracy. Ann actively volunteered for her kiddos school and extracurricular activities and was known for her sense of humor and creative and fun children's parties . She and husband Tom sent both children to college: son Tom to the United States Naval Academy and SMU and Suzanne to Baylor University and SMU Law School. Ann's husband Tom died of cancer in 1983. Following Tom's death, Ann traveled extensively (China, India, Europe) continued to volunteer for several philanthropic organizations and raised several Standard Schnauzer puppies. In 2002 Ann became a proud grandparent with the long awaited birth of Jet ORyan Meir and began her new role as doting grandma. Late in life, Ann participated in a square dancing group where she met Paul Cooper Jr. whom she later married. Ann and Paul were active travelers, including white water rafting and adventures in California, Hawaii and Europe. A lifelong Methodist, Ann was a member of Schreiber Memorial Methodist Church and later Lovers Lane United Methodist Church where she and Paul were active members of the Bible Study Class and other groups. Ann is survived by her daughter Suzanne, her grandson Jet and Paul Cooper Jr. She will be truly missed.
