Anntrice Inman, 63, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away quietly on Sunday, June 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving sister, Leslie, and her loving sister-in-law, MJ. She passed away during prayers and music at her bedside.
Anntrice was born on February 15 of 1961, in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela. Her father was Leslie (Happy) Inman, and her mother was Antonia (Toni) Inman. Anntrice was the first born to this wonderful couple. 2 years later, her sister, Leslie, was born into this tight-knit family. The family later moved to Mexico City, where they spent 23 wonderful years.
Anntrice was the apple of her Father’s eyes. Her Mother often commented that she brought into the world a perfect clone of her Father. Anntrice and her father, Happy, spent many days at the family ranch riding horses together and generally getting into mischief. When they would go to the horse track for exercise and for looking at other horses, Anntrice would always say “I’m hungry Daddy”. During these times of breakfast, Anntrice, then 5 years old, insisted on a breakfast of Garlic Shrimp. A lifelong love of food and all things delicious had started. Her favorite TV channel, later in life, always was tuned to the Food Network, with extra time scouring restaurant menus on her iPad.
The Inman family decided to move to the US as a family and arrived in 1993. Anntrice found her dream job at The Gaylord Texan as a Security Officer. Lovingly known simply as Inman by the security team, her supervisor, Dan Perkins became her loyal and loving friend. For 17 years, Anntrice, became so loved at the hotel by every department and by too many to count, employees of the hotel. She was so loved by all employees with showering of food and small gifts by everyone she interacted with.
Anntrice was the brightest star to all that knew her and her light, selfless love was given to all that came into her life. She gave the best hugs and the biggest smiles. Her memory allowed her to remember the tiny details and facts that made you feel like you were a lifelong friend, even if she had just recently met you.
Anntrice loved all her family, her sister and sister-in-law, her many close friends that she considered kindred spirits, her many dogs over the years and the many people who called her friend and acquaintances. Anntrice knew no strangers and touched too many lives to count over the years. Anntrice loved music of all kinds, especially 70’s music and Latin music. Music brought joy to her sparkle of a smile. She loved to sing along.
Anntrice is survived by her loving family of brother, Ronnie; sister, Doris; sister, Leslie; sister-in-law, MJ; her four legged babies, Ellie and Maddie; her godsons, Francarlo and Manek; loving best friends … Paulette, Sherrie, Susana and especially the Entire Jemal Family and the Allen Family, which she was a part of, along with way too many others to list here.
You will be missed dear Anntrice, our shining light, our radiant joy. We wish we had one more special hug from you and to hear that infectious laugh one more time. We find comfort that you are in heaven with our parents, grandparents, 4 legged babies and all loved ones that have gone before us.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations for her joy in life: dogs needing extra special love. Please contribute at www.Dogs365.org, a rescue she supported, by clicking on the Donation button under the Support tab. This donation in her loving memory will help this amazing dog sanctuary located here in Texas.
A celebration of Anntrice's life will begin at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 20, at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.
