Antonio Moreno

Antonio Moreno, 78, died July 18, 2011 in Dallas. Born September 4, 1932 in Dallas, TX to Angelita Moreno and Atilano Moreno, Antonio served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. For over 35 years he worked at Powell Printing Company and later retired from the City of Dallas. A devoted son, husband, father and brother, Antonio always put his family first. He made everyone laugh with his constant teasing and his witty sense of humor. Antonio was loved and respected by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Juanita M. Moreno. Antonio is survived by his wife of 56 years and the love of his life, Wanda Jean Roten Moreno; children, Tonia Moreno Perry and husband Ted, Terri Moreno Shaw and husband Kirt, Michael Antonio Moreno and wife Nicole; seven grandchildren; three sisters, Josephine Dimas and husband Mike, Ester Loria and husband Tony, and Rosa Martinez. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9643 Ferndale Rd. in Dallas, followed by visitation at Grove Hill Funeral Home from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 at Grove Hill Chapel. A Military Graveside will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
