Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints –Psalm 116:15 Arthur Lee Bradford, was born to the parentage of Jearlean and F. L. Battle, on December 29, 1937. He was their oldest child. He grew up in Calvert, Texas, and graduated from W.D. Spigner High School. He married Iris Nell on June 28, 1958, and they were married for 57 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jearlean and F.L.; sons, Marcus and Darwyn Bradford; and brothers, Ras Bradford and Bob and James Salter. He was truly a family man. He looked forward to spending time with his brothers in law and preparing for the yearly family reunion. His great smile, laughter and love, will be truly missed by those he leaves behind: Wife, Iris Nell; Granddaughters, Tiffany Washington (Kevin) and Jamie Tyler; Great-Grandson, Roman Washington; Sisters, Mary Salter Hollins, Shirley Salter Wiley and Artis Salter Turner; Brothers, Floyd and John Salter, and a host of brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
