

Arthur was born on September 5, 1938 in Blossom, Texas to Arthur C. and Buna Mae Morrison. He met the love of his life, Barbara, at the Denison Church of the Nazarene, and they were married on August 2, 1957. As newlyweds they made their home in Dallas, and within just a few short years, moved to DeSoto.
Arthur and Barbara Morrison have three daughters: Beverly McAnally, Cheryl McKnight, and Donna Gaubert. He was the perfect girl-dad, joyfully supporting his daughters in their school years as they participated in drill team and cheer. As a family, Arthur, Barbara, and their girls enjoyed boating, camping, and yearly summer vacations.
After 31 years, Arthur retired early from Sears and then worked another 10 years before retiring from JC Penney Corporate. In retirement, Arthur and Barbara traveled the fifty states and abroad. They were actively involved in supporting the Nazarene missions in the Navajo Reservation and Mexico, and supported the Nazarene youth missions, One Heart, Many Hands, in Indianapolis and Orlando. They’ve made life-long friends in all parts of the world.
Arthur was preceded is death by numerous family members including his parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews, and has now been reunited with them in his new heavenly home.
Arthur is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara; daughter Beverly McAnally and her husband Ben, daughter Cheryl McKnight and her husband Guy, and daughter Donna Gaubert and her husband Randy. He is survived by 7 grandchildren, their spouses, and 4 great-grandchildren: Benjamin McAnally, Elyse McAnally Lewis and her husband Patrick and their sons William and Samuel, Blake McAnally and his wife Sheryl, Lauren McKnight Plemons and her husband Shawn and their daughters Berklie and Katelyn, Jared McKnight, Jack Gaubert and his wife Stephanie, and Sam Gaubert.
