

Bacilio Ybarra passed away peacefully in his home in on May,7 2025 in Dallas, Texas where he was born and raised. He was known to most as "Buzz", but to his family he was known as "Dad" or "Popo". Others also called him "Mr. Fix It" because he could fix any and everything. He could build anything by hand.
Buzz was the most wisest, honest, caring, courageous, bravest, understanding and funniest person you could come across. But most of all, he was the best husband and father anyone could have asked for. He loved to go hunting and fishing. The woods and his garage were his happy places. His pride and joy were his grandchildren. Anyone that knew Buzz, had stories and memories for days to remember him by.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Ybarra of almost 55 years and their 3 children Frances Ybarra-Varela, Debbe Ybarra & John Ybarra; his grandchildren Vanessa "Little Bear" Ybarra, Jayden Hendrix, Marissa Lopez, John "Sonny" Lopez, Bacilio Anthony Ybarra, Jasmine Thomas, Reyna Rodriguez-Verde, Daniel Rene Rodriguez-Toth, Johnathan Soto & Nathan John Ybarra; his great-grandchildren Savannah Lopez, Selena Lopez, Jaelene Medrano, Nicholas Ybarra, Anthony Ybarra, Alijah Olvera; and his favorite furry granddog Sosa Marie. The pallbearers are John Ybarra, Jayden Hendrix, John "Sonny" Lopez, Cesar Mendoza, Jerry High, Kike Varela.
The Ybarra family invites you to join in celebrating Buzz's life. Services will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home at 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX 75220. Visitation will held Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 am with the burial to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
