Barbara Mae Hammond

Barbara Mae Hammond, 90, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 29, 2019. She was born in Sylvester, Texas on July 30, 1928. She graduated from Roswell High School in New Mexico. Barbara married Claudie Odell Hammond in 1947, and spent 30 years working at Asel Art Supply in Dallas, Texas. She was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church, and sang in their choir for over 40 years. Barbara had a great passion for singing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Odell Hammond; her son, Warren Hammond and daughter-in law, Penny Rogers; and her grandson, Brandon England. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Larry Lewis; her son, David Hammond; and her granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Loretta and Doug Allen.

A Graveside Service will be held for Barbara Mae Hammond on Thursday, May 2nd, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11:00 am.
