Barbara was born in St. Joseph, Mo. on 11-21-1932 and died 11-07-2025 in Dallas Tx, her home for over 70 years. Barbra is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Bessie Jennings, her husband of 50 years, J. Louis Robinson Jr, her son J. Louis Robinson III, her sister Janice Cunningham and brother Ray Jennings. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Costello and son, Curtis Robinson, and daughters-in-law, Penny and Ginni Robinson. She was lovingly known as "Bops" to her grandchildren, Lauren, Jess, Luke, Matt, and Adam Robinson, great grandchildren, Sydney, MJ, John, Ryan, Alex, Jack and Hannah Robinson.
Barbara worked in the real estate business and for over 35 years in the family's transportation business. She enjoyed duplicate bridge and had many friends over decades in the bridge community in Dallas. An avid reader, she also had an appreciation for music, art and travel. She loved babies and dogs. She was a member of Highland Country Fellowship church, and her faith was evident in the way she enjoyed and lived her life. Her family feels blessed by her love and generosity; we will miss her wonderful way of lighting up a room with her smile and her wisdom and humor in conversation.
Her memorial service will be held Sunday, November 16th at Highland Country Fellowship Church, 8202 Boedeker St. Dallas, Tx. 75225 at 2:30 PM.
