

Barbara ‘Bobbie’ Ann Williams was born March 2, 1945 in Mt. Enterprise, TX to Rochelle and Verline Williams. Barbara was the fifth of fourteen children. With such a large family, Bobbie always loved to have family around and she always had a way of making that happen. Bobbie is remembered as the bond that held the family together, the life of the party and the family matriarch. She had a great sense of humor and was sure to make you laugh. Bobbie had a servant’s heart and was always giving to others.
Bobbie loved to work out, run marathons and shared her passion for staying fit. She had a career in retail serving at JC Penny for over 36 years and undoubtedly was the family fashion icon. She was soft, beautiful and full of grace. Bobbie was courageous, full of life and always worked hard. Bobbie is remembered as a prayer warrior, full of faith with a love of God whose ministry was sharing God’s word.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Michael D. Williams; son, Steven (Alisa) Jones; daughter, Lisa (John) Smith; sisters, Vivian Sartor; Arthea (Ernest) Hasley; Shirley Woolbrirght; Brenda (Edward) Pratt; Marilyn (John) Wisner; Glorida (Al) Snow; Vickie (Johnny) Mumphrey; brother, Rochelle Williams, Jr., grandchildren, Keilan, D’Angelo, Steyvan, Xandria and Alex; eight adorable great grandchildren; one aunt and two uncles and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
