She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and wonderful friend.
Betty Jean loved to golf and was a longtime member of Glen Lakes Country Club. She loved traveling, taking long walks, working crossword puzzles, and spending time with friends and family! She always said, "I lived a great life and would not change a thing!"
She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Love; her mom, Sally Chenault; her husband of 55 years, Sidney Laughlin; son, Scott Laughlin and her brother, Paul Love.
Betty is survived by her son, Craig Laughlin and daughter in-law, Melinda James Laughlin; grandchildren, Tracey Gonzales, Sid Gonzales and Barry Laughlin; and her great-grandchildren, Isabelle Gonzales, Avery Laughlin, Matthew Gillespie and Daniel Gillespie.
The family wishes to thank Brenda, Rachel and Diane for the wonderful care Betty received, and the comfort that was given to our family by these wonderful ladies.
