

Betty Stewart went to be with her Lord on December 14, 2022. Betty was born on January 25, 1925, in Dallas, Texas, to William and Hazel Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Doris Sandusky and Ruth Roberson. At the time of death, she was living at The Village of Gleannloch Farms in Spring, Texas. She was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church.
Betty was happily married to her high school sweetheart, Homer Lowrey Stewart, for 62 years until his death in 2008, and her devotion to her husband and family was inspiring. She worked for over 30 years as a budget analyst for the federal government at the Corpus Christi Army Depot, retiring in 1986.
Betty leaves behind three children Steven Stewart and wife Kathy of Spring, Texas, Daniel Stewart and wife Jeanann of Dallas, Texas, and Connie Varriale and husband Paul of McLean, Virginia; five grandchildren Brian Stewart and wife Emily, Katie Spradley and husband Jim, Rebecca Griffith and husband Wade, Adam Stewart, Kristin Zeke and husband David; eight great grandchildren Steven, Claire, Charlotte, Olivia, Graham, Jack, Jacqueline, and Everett; and sister Linda Moore and husband Ed of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Betty lived a long and beautiful life. She loved her Lord and Savior and was thankful to Him for her many blessings. She touched many lives and will always be remembered as a gentle, caring, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.
