Beverly Eugenia Haden

Beverly Richardson Haden, died April 27, 2018. Born in Dallas,Texas June 20, 1921 to Frank Beverly and Verla Richardson. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 52 years, Robert Oliver Haden. She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands: Victoria and Richard Palmer, Susan and Jimmie Shiu, and Jo and Madison Galbraith, her sister Patricia Neff and nephew Michael Neff. She was the proud grandmother of Leslie McMillin, Angela Torres, and Megan McMillin.

She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and Hockaday Junior College. She worked as a legal secretary for most of her professional life and was an avid reader, opera and animal lover, bridge player and adventurer who traveled extensively all over the world after retirement. From her christening to her death she was a faithful (96 year long) member of The First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, where she was active in the Allman Class, Stewpot, Pastor’s Aides and was a past moderator of Presbyterian Women, Presbyterian Church of Dallas.

There will be a private graveside ceremony at Grove Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial gifts may be made to The Stewpot, a community ministry of the First Presbyterian Church of Dallas.
