Beverly McCain Walters

Beverly was born on February 23, 1935, in Memphis, TN. She lived there until later just before the war when she moved with her parents, two brothers and two sisters to Detroit, Michigan in 1953. After high school, she moved to Dallas to take her first job with her sister, Dorothy, at the Crane Company. While in Dallas, she met and married the love of her life, Donnell Walters. They later had four daughters that were cherished with all of their heart.

She was active in Oates Drive Baptist Church, teaching Sunday School and the GA’s. She retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 27 years, winning many awards. She loved traveling and reading. Her favorite present was when her girls bought her and Donnell a cruise on her 65th birthday. She loved spending time with her husband of 63 years, their four daughters, twelve grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild.

God bless each and everyone of you for the part you played in our Mom’s life. She loved each and every one of you.

She is now resting in the arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. No more pain. Now in a perfect body, joined with her loved ones that have passed before.

The family will receive friends and family at Sparkman Hillcrest, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX, 75225, on Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 6 PM - 8 PM and the funeral will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 3:00 PM at the same location.
