Born to John Fulton Murray, Sr. and Mary Helen (Kean) on June 18, 1937, in Dallas, Texas, Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia Murray, and son, George D Poston.
Beverly was a graduate of Highland Park High School, attended UT Austin and SMU, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi.
Throughout her life of adventures and travel, she won the admiration of a large network of friends with her irreverent sense of humor. In her later years she'd quip, "Don't get old!" to those who assisted her, continuing her love of getting people to laugh.
A fiercely loyal and devoted mother, she raised 8 kids who are privileged to call her "mom" — six biological children and her adopted twin nieces. Spending time laughing with her family and friends and the company of her pets brought her the most joy.
She is survived by her brother Fulton (wife Betty); children Kimberly Poston, Brett Poston (wife Dottie), John Poston, Ron Wilson, Laura Wilson, Deborah Murray Wilson (wife Angela), Patricia Murray Hughes (husband Brad); grandchildren Blake Poston (wife Savannah), Margot Poston (fiancé Chris), Michael Poston, James Poston, George C Poston, Beverly K Poston, Elizabeth Poston, Anne Poston, David Poston, Olivia Wilson, Noah Wilson, Sophia Wilson, King Hughes and great-granddaughter Poppy Poston.
She leaves behind countless friends, both life-long and new, loving cousins, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, who sorely miss her.
The family appreciates and thanks the many doctors, nurses and staff, including Dr. James S. Kohn, Dr. Syed-Ali Rizwan, Michael Basha and the staff at Monticello West and her devoted caretaker Regina Carmona. for their loving care.
