Billie Vaughn Stein

Billie Vaughn Stein, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born in Blessing, Texas on December 4, 1929 to Leslie and Delia Armstrong. She grew up in Dallas where she met and married the love of her life, Richard Harold Stein, and raised their three children. She loved the Lord and assured her family that she was not afraid to die, because she knew her Savior. She is survived by her son Gary Stein, and his wife Sandy, daughters; Cindy Clayton and her husband Gary, and Rhonda Cook and her husband Grady, sisters; Adaleen Porter, Maxine Wells and Nancy Gerron, and one brother Leslie Armstrong, grandchildren; Bryant, K.K., and Travis Stein, Randy and Corey Clayton, Rachel Zobeck and Grady Cook III, great-grandchildren Garrett, Codi, Tanner, Noah, Gracie, Jordan, Reagan, Audrey, and Rowan, one sister-in-law Betty Stein and countless nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years.

A visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home, in Dallas, and a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Laurel Land Funeral Home Chapel with interment to immediately follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
